So, a few things before we start:
1) I think that postman was totally exaggerating when he said I gave him "box burn" as I tore the box out of his hands.
Cry baby.
2)WoW!
3)Wow, wow, WOW! Kristin sent such amAzIng things!
That's not to say, of course, that it's a surprise. After all, Kristin has such funky, stylish taste. Check out this necklace she's making for the Minnesota Zoo's 2013 Beastly Ball

I think this example of Kristin's work really honors the philosophy behind my own business name: taking something directly from nature and turning it into something even more breathtaking. So, of course, I *love* it! And, of course, there's more. There's this stunner, which was published in Bead Trends, September 2012.
So, while I wasn't surprised, my jaw certainly dropped when I got my package. First of all, even the outside of the box was eye catching!

Keeping me in suspense ...

Foreshadowing the amazing things to come:

Could THIS package contain anything that *wasn't* fabulous?!

Oh, suspense!

Fabulous things and fabulous things alone.

I'm giddy with excitement. Those are totally my colors! Want to see these pretties in full and fabulous detail? Check back tomorrow! Bring a drool towel.
Thanks for reading!

HAHAHAHAHA you are so sweet.....!!!! Cant wait to see what you cook up!
ReplyDeleteFun! Maybe because I got my own package today I feel a particular affinity, a sense of camaraderie, a feeling that we're in this together. And we are. But I love, love, love the excitement and emotion in this post. And, I had to laugh at the box burn. :) Can't wait to see the reveal and hear more.
ReplyDelete@Kristin - Thank you, again! This is going to be great. I've got some great ideas already.
ReplyDelete@MaryEllen - I absolutely agree, we ARE in this together! Thank you so much for the lovely comment!
I love the gentle pressure I feel to make the most fabulous things possible out of this soup. I just don't want to let anyone down by spoiling such amazing beads.
